Edo Queens will clash with FC Masar in the third place of the 2024 CAF Women Champions League for $350 thousand, Sports247 reports.
Both teams ran out of steam in their semi-clash on Tuesday after TP Mazembe eliminated Edo Queens with a 3-1 after extra time, while FC Massar succumbed to a last minute goal against AS FAR to bow out with a 2-1 defeat.
The two clubs met in the group stage and played goalless while both defeated the champions, Mamelodi Sundowns in group B.
Both teams will go out to settle their unfinished business of the group with a whopping 350 thousand dollars to be won by the winner of the encounter while the loser will go home with 300 thousand dollars.
The battle for pride, bronze medals and dollars is slated for Friday, 22 November 2024 as teams intend to finish the competition on a high
Meanwhile TP Mazembe will face AS FAR in the grand finale on Saturday’s grand finale to determine the 2024 champions as the winner will also win 600,000 dollars in addition to the gold medal
